Athenian Brewery has taken another important step towards a more sustainable logistics operation by expanding its fleet with a new-generation 19-tonne Electric DAF XB, supplied by ERGOTRAK, a member of the Sfakianakis Group.
The vehicle was delivered to Athenian Brewery’s facilities in Sindos, Thessaloniki, where it has been deployed to support the company’s urban distribution operations, delivering products with zero tailpipe emissions.
Powered by a 190 kW PACCAR EX-M2 electric motor, the Electric DAF XB is equipped with LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology offering a total energy capacity of 282 kWh, backed by an eight-year manufacturer’s warranty. Its highly efficient electric powertrain provides a driving range of up to 320 km, depending on operating conditions. Combined with its outstanding manoeuvrability, exceptionally quiet operation and advanced driver assistance systems, the DAF XB is perfectly suited to the demands of urban distribution.
Comprehensive after-sales support will be provided through ERGOTRAK’s dedicated service facility in Sindos, ensuring expert maintenance, maximum vehicle uptime and full connectivity with the DAF factory network.
